Florence Norbury (nee Hatton) was the daughter of Mary Hatton of Over, Cheshire, and married Jesse Norbury in 1893 at St.Mary's Whitegate, Cheshire. They settled in Ancoats, Manchester and had 14 children; 5 of whom died young.
