Carol S Chaney Age 60, of Bonney Lake, passed away on Jan. 18, 2015. She was born in Sewickley, PA on May 1, 1954 to John and Betty (Turner) Bellish. The youngest of four children, she moved with her family to San Fernando, CA, and met and married her high school sweetheart, Michael Chaney, in Granada Hills, CA. Carol worked for Dan McClung with State Farm Insurance for over 36 years. She is survived by her husband Michael Chaney Sr. of Bonney Lake, son Michael Jr. (Tammy) Chaney, daughter Jessica (Mike) Sommer, sisters Paula Plaisance and Kris Metter, eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. There will be a Celebration of Her Life on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at 1:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home in Sumner. Mom was such a generous and giving woman; she put everyone's needs above hers. She touched many lives and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to in Carol's name.
