Courtney Brown, age 85, passed away May 3, 2015 in Xenia, Ohio. He was born to the late Russell and Ethel Brown on December 3, 1929 in Campton, Kentucky. Courtney graduated from The Ohio State University.

He was a proud veteran in The United Sates Army and The United States Navy. Courtney served as a flight medic and fought in the Korean War. He received the Purple Heart and several other medals and awards.

Courtney later on retired from General Motors after 30 years. He owned his own CBTV Shop where he fixed and repaired TV’s.

Courtney is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Viola Brown; three step-children Paula Adkins, Lonnie Keeton, Holly Price; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister Edna Washburn and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife Omalee Brown.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel from 5pm-7pm with a funeral service to follow on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
