CALLIE MAE MORGAN, 84 of Elizabeth City, NC died at her residence, Monday, June 12, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Self and Mary Liza Onley Morgan. Miss Morgan was a retired Sprint Operator of twenty nine years. She is survived by two sisters, Pauline Morgan Meads and Josephine Morgan Cartwright of Elizabeth City, NC; and one brother, Ervin Thomas Morgan and his wife Jessie also of Elizabeth City, NC; her caregivers, Elizabeth and Garland Meads of Elizabeth City, NC. She was predeceased by one sister, Mary Elizabeth Tadlock and three brothers, Harvey Morgan, Nathan Morgan and Julian Morgan. A Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Twiford's Memorial Chapel with the Reverends Lloyd and Delores Meads officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM; immediately following the service and other times at the home, 453 Meadstown Road. Burial will be at New Hollywood Cemetery.
