Rosie Allen, age 67 of Sulligent, AL passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1:00pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Phillip Blaylock will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-8pm.
Pallbearers: Dewey Allen, Jr., Billy Joe Allen, Ben Allen, Reggie Whitehead, Soloman Thorn Easter and Billy Ray Allen.
Rosie was born January 16, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Walter Leonard Benjamin, Sr. and Florence Betty Ibasin. She worked as a seamstress and enjoyed sewing, canning, taking care of grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching evangelist on television.
