Howard Wayne Colston, 77 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015. Howard was born on January 8, 1938 in Yuma, AZ to John and Katherine (Brewer) Colston. He was united in marriage to Alta Reed on October 13, 1956 in Dumas; she preceded him in death.

In addition to his wife, Alta, he is preceded in death by a son: Allen Colston; a great-granddaughter: Madison Kelly; a sister: Betty Norrid; a brother: Donald Colston.

Howard is survived by a daughter, five grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Life Tabernacle with Pastor Mark Wallis, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.

The family suggest memorials be made to Memorial Hospice, 224 E 2nd, Dumas, TX 79029 or Window on the Plains Museum, 1820 S Dumas Ave, Dumas, TX 79029.

The family will be at 121 Armstrong.
