Chester A. Gregory of Somerset, Kentucky, died after a long illness. He was 72 years old.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a U.S. Navy seaman. He retired from the heating and air conditioning business. He was a member of the Langdon Street Baptist Church.

He was survived by his wife, Bernice (Ard) Gregory (married July 6, 1946 in Somerset, Kentucky); his sons, Chester B. "C.B." (and Kim) Gregory of Somerset, Kentucky and Troy Lee (and Michelle) Gregory of Somerset, Kentucky; his sister, Beulah Stevens of Somerset, Kentucky; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Gregory and Mary J. (Meece) Gregory; his brothers, Burk Gregory, Andy Gregory, William Gregory, Robert Gregory, and Henry Gregory; and his sisters, Bessie Gregory, Nannie Meece, and Viola Hobbs.

Funeral services were held at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Reverend Roy Alexander officiating.
