LONG Kathryn Kate, Patton, passed away May 2, 2015, at Golden Living Center-HAIDA. She was born in Heilwood, daughter of Michael and Theresa (Brenish) Cromo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Long; six sisters; and four brothers. She is survived by her children, Jack (Dorothy) Long, Armagh; Janice (Paul) Long, Patton; Patty (Darin) Bobby, Patton; and Brenda (Willie) Maurer, Ebensburg; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, George Cromo, Industry; sisters, Betty Custer, Hershey, and Rose Nesdore, Columbus, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathryn was a 1947 graduate of Barnesboro High School and spent her life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, and enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 N. 5th Ave., Patton. A funeral Mass will be held at noon Tuesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton. Committal, St. Mary's Cemetery, Patton. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
