Funeral for David Whiteside, 46, of Woden, will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Watson and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Pat Windham officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Whiteside died June 16, 2008, at his home. Born December 28, 1961, in Center, he was the son of Bacle Whiteside and Dixie Mitchell Whiteside. He was of the Baptist faith.
Besides his parents, survivors include his wife, Lavinia Whiteside of Woden; daughters, Tiffany Whiteside and Jennifer Hughes of Tenaha, and Chavaletta Whiteside of Center; sons, Waylon Whiteside of Center, Colt and David Whiteside II of Woden; brother, Darrell Whiteside of Center; sister, Dannie Helton of Center; and two grandchildren.
