~Marcel Kathleen Barlow Welch~
Mrs. Marcel Barlow Welch, 85, of High Point, died Monday, May 18, 2009, at High Point Regional Hospital.
Born December 18, 1923, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Javan L. and Mollie Setzer Barlow. She was a member of Gospel Baptist Church, and was retired from Adams Millis. On January 3, 1942, she was married to Henry Gray Welch, Jr. who preceded her in death on July 26, 1978.
Survivors include her son and his wife; her daughter and her husband; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral was 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale. Interment followed in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
