Bobby Wilson Holland, Sr., 74, husband for 58 years of Dorothy Googe Holland, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015.

Mr. Holland was born in Oconee, GA. and lived most of his life in Allendale. He was predeceased by his father, Wilson Dewey Holland; mother, Christine Smith Bloodworth; and step-father, Willie Bloodworth. Bobby was owner of Holland Land Clearing and after retiring worked as a cook for Goodson’s Grocery later opening Ma & Pa’s Restaurant where he flipped egg’s and made the best burgers and salads in town. “Pa” was a loving family man, friend and a member of Mt. Arnon Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Mt. Arnon Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Long officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Arnon Cemetery.

Family members include his wife, Dorothy G. Holland; sons, William E. Holland and Bobby W. Holland, Jr. (Angie); daughter, Victoria Sauls (Jeff); grandchildren, Bobby W. Holland, III, Savanna H. Sauls, Skyler K. Holland, and James J. Sauls; brother, Charles Bloodworth (Jackie); sisters, Patheen Bates (Russel), Willie Mae Stevenson (Robert), Christie Williams, and Janice Crosby (Sonny); sister-in-law, Venna Mae Holland; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Donna Faye Holland: granddaughter, Ashton H. Sauls; and brothers, Jimmy Bloodworth and Willis Holland;
