Delores J. Griffin, 78, of Parkersburg, passed away June 30, 2010, at Parkersburg Care and Rehab.

She was born May 2, 1932 in Enterprise, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harold and Kathleen Ice Huffman. She retired from Super X drugs, was a member of the Ben Bey Grottoettes, Fraternal Order of Eagles 2307, and the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by one son, Larry Moore and wife Linda of Shinnston, W.Va.; one daughter, Diana L. Benson and husband Danny L. of Washington, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Patrick A. Moore of Morgantown, W.Va., Shawn J. Moore, and Stefanie J. Coleman, both of Parkersburg; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Janice A. Glass Brackenrich and husband Vern of Bridgeport, W.Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Tadpole" Griffin.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
