Wayne Reynolds, age 91, of Salvisa, Kentucky, husband of Helen Simpson Reynolds, died Saturday May 2, 2015, at Saint Joseph Hospital, in Lexington, Kentucky. Born January 11, 1924, in Nicholasville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Lindsey B. and Katherine Mulcahy Reynolds. Wayne was a World War II Army veteran, a lifelong farmer and a 60-year member of Grapevine Christian Church, where he was an elder.

He is survived by: his wife of 69 years, Helen Louise Simpson Reynolds; two daughters, Betty (Richard) Gluckman, of Powder Springs, Georgia, and Sue (Steve) Deskins, of New Smyrna, Florida; and a son, Gary (Jackie) Reynolds, of Salvisa; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by: eight siblings; and two grandchildren, Mark and Sandra Deskins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Clyde Waldridge and Ron Badger. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday May 4, at the funeral home.
