Jack Chase, of East Lansing, passed away January 14, 2015 at the age of 91. He was born May 31, 1923 to Ernest and Asenath Chase of Ionia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie, and was the beloved father of Carol Brownell, East Lansing; Kay (Carl) Ramroth, Ludington; Nancy Chase, Hopkins MN; and was loved by many grand and great-grandchildren.

Jack, originally from Ionia, served in the Army during World War II. He was an MSU graduate, having played trumpet in the MSU marching band. He and Jackie spent many winters in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. He played tennis into his 80's. He spent his entire career working for the State of Michigan Public Service Commission. Jack was devoted to his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lansing -Stoneleigh, 3411 Stoneleigh Drive, Lansing, MI 48910.
