Carol S. Robison, age 84, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 30, 2015 at her home in Overton, Nevada, surrounded by family. She was born February 17, 1931 in Archer, Idaho to Henry Lillis and Rachel Briggs Robison. On October 11, 1951 she married Gayland D Robison in the Idaho Falls Temple. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2008. On November 26, 2011 she married McKenzie Mackay in St. George, Utah.

Carol grew up in Archer, Idaho and attended Ricks College. Upon graduation, she went to work for Farmers Home Administration in St. Anthony, Idaho. She and Gayland married while he was in the service, and they made their first home in Carterton, England. On completing his tour of duty, they moved back to Archer where they farmed potatoes. From Archer, they moved to Logan, Utah where Gayland attended Utah Sate University. In 1958, they moved to Overton, Nevada where Gayland began his career with the University of Nevada, and she again went to work for Farmers Home Administration in Overton. She loved helping her husband in his work and later worked as the Postmaster of the Overton Post Office.

To Carol, family came first. Even while active in a career, her family always came first. She loved them and they respected and loved her. Her example of faith, dedication, love and service became the foundation for guiding her children. Her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren.

Carol was always active in the LDS Church, serving in many leadership capacities. She and Gayland served as ordinance workers in the Las Vegas Temple for 11 years. They later served a mission for the LDS Church in the Frankfurt Germany Temple.
