Lived at 7 Minden Place, St Lawrence.
Immigrated from Jersey and left from England on the Kildare on the 13th Dec 1884 with his family and arrived in Melbourne on the 14th Dec 1884. He lived with her parents and siblings in Geelong for some years before immigrating to New Zealand.
Charles and Jessie bought property on the corner of Birkdale and Salisbury roads in Birkdale on the North Shore of Auckland just after they were married in 1903.
In 1911 Charles Frederick a fruit grower was living in Great North Road, Birkenhead with Annie and their three girls DOROTHY then seven, JESSIE three and VIOLET one.
In 1919 Charles and Annie had sold their place in Birkenhead and shifted to Mt Eden. By 1921 they had shifted to Massey south of Auckland and had an orchard. The property was right next door to his Mother's sister Harriet and William Spargo.
Charles and Jessie bought land in 1944 on Onewa Road in Birkdale after selling off their property to their son-in-law James and continued growing strawberries, small crops and fruit trees.
Charles died in Ponsonby, in Auckland
