TABIONA, UT - Armena Wheeler Newman, age 95, passed away Monday, May 27, 2002 in Roosevelt, Utah.
Born July 28, 1906 in Liberty, New Mexico the daughter of Frederick and Mariah Laurinda Oliver Wheeler. Married John Wesley Newman Sept. 5, 1923 in Bluff, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survived by six children, 42 grandchildren, 104 great-grandchildren and 52 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John, son John Jr., and several grand and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2002 - 1:00 p.m. in the Tabiona LDS Chapel. Friends may call from 11:00-12:45 p.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Tabiona Cemetery. Arrangements in the care of Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, Heber City.
