Agatha Faye Finney, age 94 of Metcalf, Illinois, passed away at 9:38 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in Newman Rehab Center, Newman, Illinois. She was a homemaker.
She was born December 23, 1914 in Edgar County, Illinois to the late Charles and Dora (Clark) Farris. She married Donald Finney December 25, 1935 in Edgar County, Illinois, he passed away in 1969.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Finney of Decatur, Illinois and Don Finney of Paris, Illinois, one daughter Elaine Gearlds of Metcalf, Illinois, twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter Sheila Beville, one grandson, one great grandson, two sisters, and five brothers.
Private family visitation will be held.
Public graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2009 in Young America Cemetery, Hume, Illinois.
