MADISON — Juanita T. Fowler, loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed from her earthly home on Saturday, April 22, 2000, after a short illness. The daughter of George and Elsie Wrakestraw, she was born on March 13, 1921, in Junction City, Kansas. She married James R. Fowler on November 2, 1939. They moved to Madison, where Mrs. Fowler made her home for more than 60 years. She was an employee of Sears, East Towne. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years in 1986; and her son, James Fowler, in 1988. Surviving to mourn her loss is her daughter, Judith A. Cavusgil (Tamer) of Okemos, Michigan; her brother, George Wrakestraw (Alma), of Torrington, Wyoming; and four grandchildren, Dee Anne Van Rens, Todd Fowler, Erin Cavusgil, and Emre Cavusgil. Mrs. Fowler spent the last two months residing with her daughter and son-in-law, providing many happy memories for her family. She will be greatly missed by her family, neighbors, and friends. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2000. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2000. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dane County Humane Society, 2250 Pennsylvania Ave., Madison, WI 53791-8092.
