NORMA JEAN CARROLL, 83, passed in peace on Thursday, April 30, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. "She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother." Norma was a gym teacher at St. Jude School for 11 years, retiring to Fort Myers Beach, Fla. in 1980. She loved the outdoors, staying active, and interacting with wildlife. Surviving are her children, Patrick (Nora) Carroll, Teri (Dietrich Jackson) Carroll, Shawn (LueAnn) Carroll, Marc (Michele) Carroll, and Jacqui (Ken Rupel) Carroll; grandchildren, Amber (Eric) Bradley, Erica (Steve Zackarias) Carroll, Michael Carroll, Kyle (Chelsea Ehrhardt) Carroll, Shelby Carroll, and Alexandra Carroll; and great-grandchildren, Chase and Paige Bradley and Owen Zackarias. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Carroll. Celebration of life is from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Lakeside Park Pavilion #1. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
