There is some question on the spelling of his middle name. His KY death certificate has "Benard" and was attested to by his son, Henry. Since this was the last spelling for the middle name and it was not spelled out on his marker, we will use Benard.

Some think his middle name is "Bernard".

His WWI draft has it as Bernard.

The 23 April 1942 WWII Draft Registration from Middlesboro has his name as Arthur Bernard Gloster which was signed by his wife, Alice.
