William J. Buhse, 71, died yesterday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the home of Blair Welker, 101 West Fourth Street, where he made his home. Death followed a long illness. Born in Williamsport, Mr. Buhse had spent the greater part of his life here. Until his retirement, he served for a number of years as a conductor on the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of the First Evangelical Church and attended the Evangelical Sunday School.
Survivors include a son Edward, Altoona; a brother, August, residing in New Jersey, a sister Sophia and three step-children.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o’clock at the Bauer or Brown? Mortuary, Rev. H. W. Heisley officiating. Burial will be made in the Evangelical Cemetery, Tylersville.
