93, of Harrison County, KY., died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born in Harrison Co., KY., Jan. 31, 1922, to the late Enoch and Katie Anness Bryant. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Connersville Christian Church and a Kentucky Colonel. She was a retired cafeteria manager for the Harrison County School System having worked at Westside School, Connersville School and Edgemont Manor. Her husband Gerald Carr Jenkins and son Virgil Jenkins preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Jerome Clark (Jane Ann) Jenkins and Robert Mitchell (Valerie) Jenkins, daughter in law, Phyllis (John) Grayson, grandchildren, Greg Jenkins, Dwayne (Trish) Jenkins, Mark (Kim) Jenkins, Jeff (Rebecca) Jenkins, Kim Jenkins, Jenny (David) Ward, Mitch (Nancy) Jenkins and Julie (Steve) Barnes. Several great grandchildren also survive. Services will be conducted 10 AM Monday, May 4, 2015, at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, presided by Nick Jones, Connersville Christian Church, Clifford Neat, Sunrise Christian Church, and Warren French,Connersville Christian Church. Burial will follow the service in Salem Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Connersville Christian Church Building Fund. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
