Shirley Gray Moore Rush, age 85, beloved wife of 66 years to Stewart Austin Rush, died on Monday, April 13, 2015 at her residence.

Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Walter McNeely Moore and Mary Libscomb Moore. Mrs. Rush was retired from the USDA. She was a volunteer at Tuomey Medical Center and a member of Camden's Women's Business Association and was a former Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, granny, great granny, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving in addition to her husband are: two sons, Leonard A. Rush and his wife Karen of CA and James S. Rush of TN; one daughter, Delores Gray Rush of Sumter; four grandchildren, Christian H. Lyles and her husband Gerald, Mandi L. Wilson and her husband Patrick, Katharine Gray Rush and Erik A. Rush and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Delores "Dolly" Gray Vierra.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Alice Drive Baptist Church with Dr. Clay Smith officiating. Interment will follow Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Camden, SC.

Pallbearers will be: Hamilton Betchman, Gerald Lyles, Erik Rush, James S. Rush, Leonard A. Rush and Patrick Wilson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
