Beloved husband and son, Shannon R. Kelly, age 34, of West Newton, Pa., and formerly of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2005.

He was born April 17, 1971, in Greensburg, Pa. He was the son of the Rev. Robert E. Kelly and Patricia (Shirey) Kelly of Herminie, Pa.

Shannon loved pool and was an avid player. The love of pool was only surpassed by his love of NASCAR and fast cars.

He loved life and lived it passionately!

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Susan (Adkins) Kelly of West Newton, Pa.; and two much-loved children: a daughter, Sierra Kelly, and a son, Kyle Adkins, both at home; as well as an aunt, Mrs. Carol Dale and her husband, Jerry, of Perryopolis, Pa.; three cousins: Jerry Dale, Jaime Dale and Nathan Dale; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Melba) Adkins, a brother-in-law, Raymond Adkins, and his grandmother-in-law, Mrs. Dolores Long, all of Newell, Pa.

Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, November 10, until 12 noon, the hour of Service. The Rev. James Pond will officiate.

Entombment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park immediately following the service.
