age 82, a kind and gentle soul, finished her earthly journey with her loving family at her side, Saturday Nov. 16, 2013. She was born in Massillon June 1, 1931, daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Maier) Heisserer. Beverly was an active member of Faith Community Fellowship Church and the Massillon Woman's Club. Her husband, H. Howard Cunningham died in 1991; other beloved family members passing previously were her brother, Jim Heisserer; her sons, Joel and Jeffrey Cunningham; granddaughters, Jessica and Amanda Cunningham; great-granddaughters, Kyra and Katherine Yanchunas, and son-in-law, Greg Griffith.
She leaves behind her four daughters, Cindy Griffith, Betsy Cunningham, Nancy (Mark) Livengood, and Shelley (Dan) Smeyres; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Denslow; two daughters-in-law, Sarita Cunningham-Hedderly, and Connye Cunningham; and a sister-in-law, Vivian Heisserer.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon with Dr. David Kimberly officiating. Visitation is Tuesday Nov. 19 5-7 p.m. and Wednesday 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brookfield Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or the Amanda J. Cunningham Scholarship Fund at WHS.
