Kenneth "Ken" Ray Yancey, 75, of Yukon, OK, passed away Friday, May 1st, 2015 at Integris Hospice House, Oklahoma City, OK. He was born November 7, 1939 in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Jesse and Betty (Frank) Yancey. Moving to Yukon in 1979, Ken retired from the Air Force as a Technical Sergeant after 20 years of service. He then worked for Dayton Tire for over 20 years. Ken was a founding Trustee of Yukon Church and he enjoyed volunteering at Yukon Integris Hospital and being involved in the hospital ministry as well as volunteering at Mobile Meals. His hobbies included, camping, fishing, woodworking, reading and caring for his koi pond. His greatest pleasure was spending time with family and friends. Ken is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Yancey and parents Jesse and Betty Yancey. He is survived by two sons: Alan Yancey and wife Misha and Danny Yancey both of Yukon; two grandchildren, Caitlin and Allyson Yancey of Yukon; two brothers, Ron Yancey and wife Jan and Rick Yancey; one sister Sherry Osborn and husband True, and special friends Nancy Ritz and family and Rick Hobiera. Memorial donations may be made to Integris Hospice House, 13920 Quailbrook Dr., Oklahoma City, OK 73134. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the Yukon Church, Yukon, OK, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
