Rehme, Eugene T.

Eugene T. Rehme, age 71, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday morning, April 30, 2015 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

He was born on September 17, 1943 in Manitowoc, son of the late Albert A. and Florence (Kohls) Rehme. On January 2, 2003 he married the former Rae Ann Hoffman in Manitowoc. Eugene was employed at Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry from 1969 until his retirement in 2005. He enjoyed woodworking, the Green Bay Packers and was an all around handy man.

Survivors include his wife: Rae Ann Rehme, Manitowoc; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Joe Rehme and his special friend Tania Carver along with Tania's daughter Destiny, Manitowoc, Robert and Nancy Rehme, Crivitz; one daughter and son-in-law: Tami and Jose Gamez, Manitowoc; one step-daughter: Kelly (Richard) Luebke, Manitowoc; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law: Helen and James Weiss, Manitowoc; and a special nephew: Danny Rehme. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by three brothers: James Rehme, Gerald Rehme and Clarence Rehme; a sister: Darlene; a grandson: Dylan Rehme and the mother of his children: Lucy Rehme.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 and Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
