The following information was given by Gary DeBoy, a great grandson:

John & Catherine DeBoy were married Oct 31 1883 and they had 13 children.

Elza Emerson m(Marie Reuzenaar), Emanuel Franklin m (Prudence Ely), John David, m(Caroline Kull), Alfery Ettie died at 1 yr. 5 mo., William Alva, died at age 5 months, Henry Wilfred m 1(Hatti Berry) m 2(Eva Hatke), Elda Elmetta m(Herman Mills), Grover Stevison m(Kathryn Habben, Daniel M. m(Gladys Bell), Mary Irene, Rosa Elizabeth m (Everett Marshall), Florence Elmira m (Bernard Hatke), and Charles Isaac m(Cecilla Hatke)

The Isley Cemetery was part of the farm they lived on all their married life. The cemetery was a gift from the couple to all descendants of DeBoy and Ely name, and is still open at the present time.

John Henry had many skills, he built all buildings on his farm from wood and stone's gathered from the farm. This included a large bank barn, a 10 room house, and many out buildings, including a black smith shop.
