Johnye Mae Brown Lowrey was born to Dorothy and Fred Brown in Roosevelt, on May 22, 1945. She passed away after a short illness on April 30, 2015, at the age of 69 years old.
Johnye was preceded in death by her father, Fred Brown; two brothers, Fred Brown Jr. and Ernest Glenn Brown.
She is survived by her mother, two sister's, and 1 brother, two daughters and one son, 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughter's,two great-grandsons.
Johnye spent her working years as a licensed vocational nurse after earning her Associates Degree in nursing from Ranger Junior College.
Visitation will be at Davis-Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015, in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood.
