Born on March 27, 1888 Summerville RD In Jefferson County, she was a daughter William and Emma Drosius Lehman. She was married to W. Young, who preceded her in death in 1970.
Mrs. Young was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clarion. She was a member the WSCS of the church. She was also a 50-year member of the Lady Rebekah Lodge 488 of Clarion.
Mrs. Young is survived two sons, D. Ivan Young of Rimersburg and Rev. Franklin V. Young of Buffalo, with whom she made her home for the several years. Also surviving are one brother, Fred Lehman of St. Petersburg, Fla; along with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death a son, Donald Burnett Young. Four sisters and two brothers also preceded her In death.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today and Friday at the Gerald L. Goble Home In Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday in the home. Rev. George S. Crooks, pastor of the First United Methodist Church In Clarion, will officiate. Interment will be in the Clarion Cemetery.
