OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Julia Elaine Mobley Sanders, age 83 a licensed practical nurse of Oak Grove, Louisiana, will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Reverends Curtis Wilson, Jimbo Herring & David Sistruck will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Red Wing Cemetery near Oak Grove.

Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Cox Funeral Home, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Mrs. Sanders passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Cooper Mobley; her mother, Emily Viola Coody Mobley; her son, Charlie James Sanders; grandson, Christopher Sanders; grandson, Chad Beard and great grandson, Dawton Beard.

Julia is survived by her husband of 67 years, O. C. Sanders of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Ocie & Larry Drurey of Pioneer, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Rufus & Wanda Sanders of Oak Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Richard "Ricky" & Pam Sanders of Oak Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Emily & Ted Peacock of Forest, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Belinda & Doug Owens of Forest; daughter and son-in-law, Pam & Richard Shelton of Forest; daughter, Lisa Sanders of Swartz, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are her grandsons: Larry Drurey II, Jay McNeil, Rod Drurey, Colt Sanders, T. J. Peacock, Remy Sanders, Julian "Zeke" Shelton and Wyatt Williamson.

Honorary Pallbearers are her granddaughters: Misty Bancroft, Kelsey Peacock, Callie Sanders, Corbin Sanders and Ranee Shelton.
