Larry passed away at home from cancer with his family present.

Larry was born in Milwaukee, Wis., to Joe and Helen Schroeder.

He was one of five brothers: Ron Flees, Bob, Clarence (wife, Mary), and his late brother, Stephen.

He started working early in life to help family, due to his father’s illness. He worked in a foundry for 40 years.

Larry met the love of his life, Barbara, and together they had one son, Steven; five stepchildren, Frank, Pat, Susan, Gordon and Cindy; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In 2000 Larry and Barbara retired and moved to Bisbee, Ariz., where he would walk his three dogs, Murphy, Inky and Charlie, up Tombstone Canyon. He would stop and talk to everyone he met, give weather and other subjects if they liked it or not.

He loved his yard and yardwork.

He will be missed by many friends and dogs.
