Bernice Dorothy Jenkins, age 86, of Foreside Road formerly of Washington Ave, Portland died Friday April 24, 2015 at Falmouth by the Sea.
She was born in Portland, the daughter of Everett P. and Ada M. Teale Hansen. She attended Portland schools graduating from Portland High School class of 1947.

Bernice was a homemaker most of her life while taking care of her mother, and she was also known for providing special care to her family. She attended St. Paul's Anglican Church, and was a former member of The Order of Eastern Star.

She is predeceased by her husband William G. Jenkins, and her sister Ada M. Napoleone who died December 2012.
She leaves her close friends, Joseph "Joe" and Nalita Stevens of Gorham.

A time of visitation will be held Wednesday April 28, 2015 from 5 to 7pm at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. A funeral service will be held Thursday April 30, 2015 at 9:30am at the funeral home with Fr.
