Stephen William Powers, 93, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Greenwood Manor Nursing Home.

He was born Sept. 10, 1921 in Port William, Ohio, a son of Foy and Annabelle Dabe Powers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Rosella, in 2000.
He is survived by his daughter of Huber Heights; a brother, a sister-in-law; nieces; nephews; and other family members.

Mr. Powers had been a sports fan, playing both basketball and softball, and was an avid Reds fan. He also enjoyed pitching horseshoes, shooting pool and bowling. He was a member of the Middletown Senior Citizens Center where he leaves behind a special group of friends.

Stephen's family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Greenwood Manor for the excellent care they gave Stephen.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m., at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. John Lockwood officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
