Carter Taylor, loving brother, passed from this world to go be with his heavenly family on Friday, April 24, 2015 at home.

Carter was born on October 10, 1961 in Blackmont, KY where he spent his early years. His adult years were spent in Ewing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Isabelle Taylor Brooks, father, Bill Taylor, three older siblings and one younger sister, Mary Taylor.

He is survived by his brothers, Joe (Charlene) of Kissimmee, FL, Mike (Susie) of Blackmont, KY, Vernon and Quincy Taylor of Ewing; sister, Jean (Elijah) West of Ewing, VA; nephew, Nick Houston of Ewing; a special nephew and wife, Sam and Belinda West; 8 nieces, several great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the First Baptist Church of Rose Hill, VA. The memorial service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Carlos Wolfe and Rev. David Howard officiating.
