HALL, Barbara J., 79, of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018. She was born in Rockwood, Tennessee on January 18, 1938 to Robert and Stacia E. (Parks) Gunter. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hall, Jr. in 2001, and her sister, Jack Varney. Survived by 4 daughters, Maronna Butcher (Dave), Kim Hall, Alice Ellis & Candy Hall; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson; special nieces, Linda Hudie, Donna Harmon & Ester Byrd; special nephews, Tom Hudie & Glen Varney; other nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, “Northridge Chapel,” 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Interment Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. The family will receive friends Wednesday 12 noon, prior to the service, at the George C. Martin Funeral Home.
