Mrs. Gilbert G. Johnston, 72, who made her home with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Brubaker, 3410 38th St. Rock Island, died this morning in the home.

Services will be at 2 Monday afternoon in the DeRoo Funeral Home, where friends may call afternoon tomorrow. Rev. Wayne L. Johnson, pastor of Trinity Episcopal Church, Rock Island, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Dorotha A. Crews was a native of Kellogg, Iowa. She was married to Mr. Johnston Dec. 22, 1920 in Omaha, Neb. The couple came to Moline in 1925 where they lived until 1966 when they moved to Rock Island. Mr. Johnston died in September, 1969.

Surviving in addition to the daughter is a son, Robert K. of Reseda, Calif., six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dewey Johnston of Redfield, Iowa and a brother, Ben Crews of Jefferson, Iowa.
