She was 92. She was the daughter of the late Philip A. and Frances P. (MacDermott) Sullivan, and lived in Boston most of her life.
She was married to the late William "Johnny" Gallagher and was the sister of the late James and Philip F. Sullivan.
A 1939 graduate of Dorchester High School, Anne, also known as Anna, worked as a bank teller for many years. Her true passion was music and dancing. She and her husband took part in many ballroom dancing events and competitions. She also taught dance through the Boston Center for Adult Education.
During World War II she worked as a U.S.O. hostess in Boston.
She will be interred with her husband in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
