Martha Ann Wilkins, age 72 of Elwood, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis following multiple health issues. She was born May 15, 1942 in Leechville, Arkansas, the daughter of James Rickman and Arnedia (Monk). She worked as a computer programmer for I.B.M. Corporation for many years, and retired in her late 50’s. She was also formerly licensed as a beautician. Martha was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed music and playing several different instruments; working and solving puzzles; and especially enjoyed crocheting.

Martha is survived by a son, Mike (wife Brandy) Foreman of Mountain Grove, MO; daughter, Sally Jo Brown of Texas; sister, Bobbie (husband Larry) Gosnell of Elwood; 3 grandchildren, John Michael Foreman, Lacey Harris, and Dakota Foreman; nephew, Troy (wife Penny) Taylor of Elwood; special friends and caretakers, Carolyn Luse and Lucinda Gosnell both of Elwood; and step-father, Raymond Medlan of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Melody Taylor.

Funeral services celebrating Martha’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Haill of Solid Rock Ministries officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Elwood.
