George Jordan Mourned
Funeral services were held Monday at 1 p.m., August 9, in the Plainfield Methodist church for George B. Jordan, 91, who died Friday, August 6, at the Fritze Nursiong Home in Nashua.
He was born on September 19, 1874, and is survived by his wife Mazie, who is also a patient in the nursing home, and • daughter in Denver, Colo.
Rev. A. VanBenschoten Officiated. Music was furnished by Janice Fritcher, organist, and the flower committee was Mrs. Claude Shepard and Mrs. Harold Briggs,
Casket bearers were Harold Briggs. Arlie Smith, Clarence Smith. Albert Paulsen. Ben Cruse and Guy Burke.
Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home of Nashua was in charge, with burial in Andrews Cemetery, rural Waverly.
