Mrs. Lucinda Williams Roach, 76, of 3 Mell St. Pooler, died Monday afternoon at Candler General Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Emanuel County, and had lived in Chatham County for 30 years.
She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Pooler.
Surviving are three sons, Samuel F. Roach, Daniel P. Roach of Jacksonville, Fla., and James Harry Roach of New Orleans, La.; a daughter, Mrs. Alma Hall of Pooler; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Fountain Funeral Home is in charge.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Pooler Trinity Methodist Church with Rev. Wesley Jones and Rev. Harold Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Newton Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Quinney Roach, Charles Roach, Emory Roach, Lannie McGahee, Guy Williams and J. W. Deal.
The remains will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior funeral time. Fountain Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
