Lottie united with the Miller Baptist Church early in life. She married Walter Thomas Yenger on Thursday, January 15, 1914 at Hampton, Iowa.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters: Emily in infancy, Mrs. Sarah Wilson and Mrs. Mary Creech.
She was survived by her husband, Walter; two step-sons, Dwight M. and DeWitte Talmadge Yenger, both at home; two brothers, Marshal David Coffin of Bendavis, Missouri, and Reverend Jesse Sherman "J. S." Coffin of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Adeline Sanders of Moravia, Iowa and Mrs. Cora Ellen Boyer of Bendavis, Iowa.
Short funeral services were held at the home near Blakesburg, Iowa at 1:30 p.m., Friday, July 13, 1934, followed by funeral services at the U. B. church in Moravia conducted by Reverend Luther Childs. Interment was in the Moravia Cemetery.
Many relatives and friends mourned her death.
