Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2pm for John Marsh, 80, who died at his home near Church Hill Tuesday at 10:30 am. The services will be held at the Elm Springs Methodist Church with the Rev. T.H. Franklin and the Rev. J.T. Booth in charge.

Mr. Marsh was a member of the Elm Springs Methodist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mendy Wilmoth Marsh, five sons, Johnnie, Neal, Edgar, and Hugh Marsh of Church Hill, and Joe Marsh of Rogersville; four daughters, Miss Mary Marsh and Mrs. Sam Skelton of Church Hill, Mrs. Alfred Boyd of Dante, VA, and Mrs. Ed Gray of Kingsport; a sister, Mrs. Mary Gibbons of Church Hill; nineteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
