Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Rev. W.E. "Bill" and Maude Gibson.
Linda was a member of Easley Church of God. She was an employee for the School District of Greenville County for over 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Edens (Glenn) and Susan Morgan (Tony); and one granddaughter, Madisyn Edens.
In addition to her loving husband she is preceded in death by one brother, W.E. "Billy" Gibson, Jr.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
