He spent his last two weeks with his family reminiscing memories. Terry was born Aug. 30, 1945, at Fremont to Roland and Rosemary (O’Reilly) Hanson.
He lived his whole life in Fremont and attended Fremont Public Schools. Terry married Pamela Montgomery on Sept. 5, 1965, in Fremont. He worked at various mechanic jobs, at Western Electric, and was manager of Kmart Sports and Automotive Department for 10 years. He opened a car and engine repair works business and worked there until he retired in 1999.
He attended Fremont Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed car racing and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Pam of Fremont; children, Tammy Hanson, Rick (and wife, Julie) Hanson, and Tanya Morehouse (Dave Hull), all of Fremont; brother, Tim (and wife, Diane) Hanson of Florence, Ariz.; sister, Rosalie (and husband, Larry) Delaney of Omaha; grandchildren, Jacob Morehouse, Garett Hanson and Hayley Hanson; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Raymond Hanson.
The memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fremont Church of the Nazarene. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at a later date at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
Memorials may be directed to the Dodge County Humane Society.
