Marian E. Gray, 86, of Howland Twp. passed away peacefully at her home at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 surrounded by her family following a short illness.

She was born December 24, 1928 in Blue Knob. PA, the daughter of the late Cloyd and Sarah (Hazlett) Snowberger.

Marian came to Trumbull County as a child and was a graduate of Matthews High School. She retired in 2013 after working 30 years as a teacher's assistant at the Childrens' Rainbow Preschool where she touched many hearts.

Marian was a long-time member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Champion. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed sewing, gardening, crafts, and cooking but her greatest joy came from being around children and spending time with her family.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and will be remembered for her love of family and her special touches to holiday gatherings.

On Jan. 18, 1947 she married Augustus "AJ" Gray and they shared 38 years of marriage until his death in 1985. She also was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers Irvin and William Snowberger.

She will be sadly missed by 3 daughters; Darlene (Tom) St. George, Linda Hinkle, Brenda Gray , 3 sons; Gary (Pam) Gray, Gale (Sandy) Gray, Jeff "AJ" (Nina) Gray all of Howland, 12 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister Barb (Chris) Larson of North Carolina and a sister-in-law Louise Snowberger of Howland Twp.

Interment will be in Pineview Memorial Park.
