Sarah Skobliki, a Long Island resident passed away April 17, 2001. She was born to Homer and Cora Abare Smith in Mountain View NY on December 14, 1912 . She worked as a housekeeper at St. Mary's Rectory in East Islip, L.I. She married her husband Leopold Sept 5,1937 in Queens, NY. he passed away in Jan 18, 1996. She is survived by 2 sons, Paul Skoblicki July 28, 1938 - March 04, 2016 and his wife, Kathleen, Thomas (Cookie) and wife, Patricia and a daughter, Mary Ann and husband, Vincent. She was one of 10 children, survived only by a sister, Dorothy. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Reposing at the Maher Funeral Home, Pleasantville, NY Thursday 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:30 at Holy Innocents Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532 would be appreciated.
