Sharon K. Bowen, 70, of Hannibal, Mo. passed away at 6:55 a.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bowen was born May 12, 1944, in Hannibal, Mo., to Walter Lewis and Martha Maxine King Stover.
She was married to Richard Dean Bowen on Feb. 18, 1963, in Hannibal, Mo. He preceded her in death Dec. 14, 2008.
Survivors include four children, Roger Dean Bowen (Shari) of Hannibal, Mo., Georgia K. Graham (Tim) of Rensselaer, Mo., Richard W. Bowen (Julia) of Hannibal, Mo., Roger William Bowen of Hannibal, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Richard Dean Bowen IV, Shayna Lynn Bowen, Tim C. Graham II, Brittany K. Graham, Leland Smith, Kyle Smith, Mike Bowen, Stephanie K. Bowen, 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, William W. Stover (Joann) of Hannibal, Mo., and Jerry Lee Stover of Hannibal, Mo.; one sister, Betty Williams of Hannibal, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bowen previously worked as a medical technician at local nursing homes until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting and playing Uno. Sharon loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the James O'Donnell Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
Pallbearers will be Roger Bowen, Richard Bowen, Joe Stover, Leland Smith, Tim Graham II and Richard Bowen IV.
