GLENDORA, MI. and MESA, AZ. - Robert Eldon Lintner, 65, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Glendora, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1996, at home.
The funeral was held 10 am, Friday, Sept 20, 1996, at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa with Dr. Bruce Miller officiating.
Mr. Lintner was born April 10, 1931, in Galien, MI. He had owned and operated Lintner's Gas Station at the corner of Cleveland & New Troy-Buchanan Road in Glendora. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War and a member of the New Troy American Legion and a member of Central Christian Church, Mesa, AZ.
Survivors include: his wife, the former Ermagene Headley Zellers, whom he married on June 16, 1957, in New Carlisle, IN;. a daughter, Rhonda Lintner; four sons, Richard Zellers of Fremont, CA, Glen Zellers, Robert & Eldon Lintner, all of Mesa, AZ; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Madge (Lavon) Phillipi, Branch, MI, & Nancy (Willard) Thomas, Plant City, FL; a brother, William (Jerri) of Apache Junction, AZ.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Eldon E. & Gwendoline (Seal) Lintner; a brother, James; and a baby sister, Joyce.
Entombment with full Military Honors was at Mountain View Memorial Gardens Mortuary, 7900 E Main St., Mesa. Pall Bearers: Richard & Glen Zellers, Robert, Eldon & Wm Jr. Lintner, and Wm Hitze.
